6 Antique 1928 Norwegian 830 Silver Hand Hammered Floral Dinner Forks 7 3/4" yellow 2 serving spoons--8 1/8 inchesPresented is a fine set of 6 Norwegian silver dinner forks. The handles have a wonderful hammered finish topped with applied flower and scroll decoration. The pattern is very similar to the Hardanger pattern made by Magnus Aase of Bergen. The backs of the handles are engraved with a W monogram in fancy script and the date 25 8 1928. The forks are hallmarked on the reverse with 830S for the silver purity, NM and John Stamnaess for the retailer. The
